Rejuven8 Drinks

Some delicious and relaxing drinks for you to enjoy while you read this month's Rejuven8.

January (Matt): Lemon, Lime & Bitters
Mix 6 drops of Angostura Bitters and a splash of lime
juice with lemonade or soda water for a refreshing, summery drink.
(Tip: remove the bitters for a refreshing, non-alcoholic version)

February (Rachel): Chocolate Frappe
Dissolve 2tsp chocolate syrup in ½ cup of milk,

blend with crushed ice and serve with a dash of

vanilla essence and cream, if you like it. Delicious!

March (Rachel): Peppermint Tea
Brew for two minutes, add sugar or honey to taste

April (Matt): Coffee - your way
Personally I enjoy a latte with one sugar.
(For a non-coffee option, try brewing ginger with honey)

May (Mike): Rooibos (Red Bush) Tea
A relaxing hot drink. Brew to taste.

June (Rachel): Hot Chocolate
Make your own hot chocolate powder
(combine 1 3/4 cups sugar, 1 cup cocoa & 1/2 tbsp salt)

Use 1-2 tablespoons mixed with a cup of hot milk.

July (Rachel): Chai Latte
I love Twinnings Easy Chai, it goes really well
with honey or brown sugar.

August (Rachel): Earl Grey - your way
Steep, sugar, milk and serve

September (Matt): Berry Smoothie
Blend together ½ cup frozen mixed berries,
1 frozen ripe banana, ¼ cup of orange juice and
½ cup yoghurt. Sweeten with honey.

October (Matt): Citrus Sparkling Water.
Soda water with lime or lemon segments. Crisp and light.

November (Rachel): Watermelon Soda
Blend up 2 cups of watermelon, add soda water
and a drop of rose water for a relaxing cool down drink.

December (Matt): Peach Iced Tea
Peach Syrup: Boil 1 cup of water, 1 cup sugar with 2 thinly sliced peaches, wait until the sugar is dissolved, then let it cool for half an hour. Peach Iced Tea: Separately, make up a cup of tea and allow it to cool then add your peach syrup to your tea to taste. Add mint.
